I Think My Husband Broke The Baby

He took over the childcare Monday, so I could go back to work. When I handed her over, she was happy and had a regular nap routine. She now cries a lot and refused to nap! She's had 40 minutes today, thats it.

Haha the same happens with my OH. However I ain't left him for a day yet ... I DREAD to think what I'd come back to.
But if he gets up with him and I say 'in an hour put him down' I wake up hour n half later screaming baby and 'he wasn't tired - and now he's crying and won't sleep' grrrrr.

on the whole yes, if anything he's being too rigid with it as he doesnt want to mess up.

i don't know what it is with her the last few days, she's just refusing to nap, despite being tired, and when you do put her down she just screams. its not like her (i work from home so hear it all). Yet come bedtime routine she's a different baby.

aww She's probably just adjusting to the change in routine! Give it a week or two and I'm sure things will settle down.

Well she was absolutely knackered tonight! Brought her bedtime routine forward and the change was amazing.

how is it an hour before she was fighting going to sleep in her cot, yet we start bedtime routine (bath, bottle - no book this time, and bed) and she goes down awake and goes straight to sleep! i don't get it
