I think my LH surge is screwy.....

So I have been using digital OPKs since last week. I got a negative yesterday (tested twice, after holding pee), negative this morning, a positive at 12:30 p.m., and a negative just now at 6:40 p.m.

Is this bad? I can definitely feel the twinges in my left pelvic area just like I did last month when getting a positive OPK.

When I test twice a day I will get my positives in the am and negatives in the pm. Then the next morning it will be positive again. Not sure if it's good or bad...but your not alone. Good luck!!

I think I will test again 2 times tomorrow and then I think I have enough to test on Saturday again...then will have to wait and see, I can't afford any more digis this month! LOL

You can get about 40 Wondfo OPK's on Amazon for about $10. That's what my cousin used to know when NOT to have sex when they were still WTT, but then used to when they were TTC. It worked for them. Hope all goes well!

I will definitely get some of those.....the digitals are nice but too expensive and I can't test as often as I would like to.....

Digis are not sensitive at all compared to regular opks (like hpts in a way). Some women never get smiley faces, but get positives on other opks and still ovulate.. it could be the smiley face was at your peak surge. I def recommend getting cheapies from amazon or early-pregnancy-tests.com and using digis to confirm. Hope you caught the egg!!! xx

I had the same thing happen to me I was so confused.. I was like wth .. i got a positive at about 12:45pm and a negative at about 5pm ii was like wth.. I bd that night and the next few days but got a negative.. was so confused Im using clearblue digi but think I might but some cheapies as well just to be sure!

It says that the line has to be just as dark as the control to be a positive, but my cousin figured out that varying line darkness was varying fertility. IF i remember correctly. She is on BnB too so i'll send her to this thread. don't quote me though I didnt actually use them lol!

Well no more positives....I am definitely going with the cheapie strips next month. Might make it a little easier to understand. I hope that I did more than enough bd'ing LOL

for what it's worth, i have a really short LH surge, but still ovulate on my own every month. the only downside is that you sometimes have to test twice a day in order to catch it. other than that, no biggie. good luck!

Thanks for the kind words. This is my first baby and I didn't know jack sh*t till I started reading things here...last month I only had one positive as well but I can totally feel ovulation. It is definitely noticeable. Next month I may try using the cheapies 3x a day when I expect to O....just to see what I can find out

When it comes right downs to it everyone knows jack crap about it because everyone's body is different. I've learned it's all a guessing game and you hope you just guessed right! lol
