My guess is that this post is a joke. There is no way you want to name your baby Hammer. If you are smart enough to make a baby, you are smart enough to know that Hammer is a dumb name.

ok i guess hammer aint so good of a name. what are some girl names. i don't hink it gonna be a girl but i guess i cant tell. why do you all say that it should be her choice what to name the baby just cuz she pregnent with it. she dont have a job, i make all the money and been buying all the stuff for it. i don't mind doing that at all but i think i should have some say in it too.

Nobody said it would have to be just her choice - you BOTH need to make the decision.

Don't forget she is one who is pregnant, she is the one that has to get used to all the physical and emotional changes, and she is the one that gives birth - you may be 'making all the money' .. but she is making and growing your child.

Hammer is a silly name. A child would be bullied for a name like that, why would you want to give your child a silly name like that??

I always wanted to call my girl Marzipan and boy Bambi....riiiggghhtt up untill I fell pregnant....
I still considered them for middle names untill I was about 12 weeks though.

Only ultrasound or more invasive tests can tell what sex the baby will be.

Each to their own on names but hammer isnt really a name IMO its an object. You will both have to register the babies birth so you will need to decide on a name together, discuss some others and find one you both like x

Hammer? Really? Sorry but that is a terrible name. And your gf should have a say, of course. She's carrying the child and will be giving birth to it. You might make the money but she is carrying your baby so you can't really use that as an argument. There are plenty of unusual names out there but ones that aren't too far out there that a child might get bullied over it

Why don't you get a baby name book? There's loads of really unusual names in them! You could go for something exotic! To be honest, I do think the kids will rip him for the name Hammer. Don't forget that now you've got a kid on the way you've got to be an adult and make (with your GF) desisions which will make sure your kid is set up to have a really good life!!xx
