IB and testing

Hi all

So I am 9DPO today. AF isn't due until Thursday/Friday of next week. Today I went potty and had bright red blood. There wasn't that much. I haven't had it since. I did have IB with my 14 mo old, but it was actually pretty heavy and lasted a full day. It also happened around the same time as this spotting was earlier.

I'm wondering if this is an IB or not. If it is, when should I test? I do have some mild AF type cramps. But, I had it all throughout my last pregnancy.

It is best to wait to test until 5-7 days past suspected implantation bleeding. The reason is that it takes 2-3 days for HCG to reach your blood and then another 3-4 days to reach your urine. It CAN take longer than that, though, so if you get a BFN but don't get AF, try again in a few more days.
