IC OPK question

Hi ladies Thank you for looking at my post!

I recently bought OPK internet cheapies from earlypregnancytests.com

The past 3 days or so, I've had faint lines... then this morning with second morning urine, I had a pretty clear positive. Both lines were dark!

Just now, I tested again (roughly 3 hours after the positive this morning) to confirm the positive, and its back to a faint line.

Was that my surge? Could it really be gone 3 hours later? Does this mean I will OV in the next 12-36 hours?

Hi there!

It could be you have a very short surge but they advise you dont do another opk test until you havent peed for at LEAST 4 hours.

Wait until tomorrow morning and use ur first morning pee.

I dont one this morning and i had a smiley face and one 3 hours later and had the circle.

I also done one yesterday morning and had my smiley face and 3 hours later a circle then waited 5 hours to pee again and got my smiley face again.

You probably have a short surge, or you caught the very end of it. Sometimes I only get one positive, and sometimes I get 3.. It's weird lol. You can ovulate anywhere between the day you get your positive opk, to 48 hours after your last. A good rule of thumb to figure out when you ov when using opks, is the day after ovulation your CM will either dry up or go cream/sticky. Your cervix will also go low & hard which you can tell when you BD, it's like "hitting a wall" in your lady garden.. lol. Hopefully that can help you figure out about when you ovulate xx
