I'm noticing a lot of chat about the icandy range in all sorts of places, and they seem to be much sought after! Anyone who has one, why is this - what makes them better than your average pushchair/stroller...?

this is my 1st LO and I've ordered the peach 2. The reasons why I'm getting it are: easy to push it glides so feels weightless, large shopping basket (I use public transport atm), again easy to manover in shops I'm a very clumsy person as it is lol, adjustable handle height (Im tall!), I like how you can have LO facing u or facing outwards, Different recline positions, I really wanted a pushchair with a carry cot for when baby's tiny and it's really stylish IMO, hope this helps sorry about grammar and spelling I'm using my phone xx

I've ordered the peach 2 as well and looked at lots of reviews before deciding. I didn't want a pram that looked like a car seat on wheels and I wanted one that was easy to manage on my own on public transport etc. The video I saw on the iCandy website showed how easy it was to handle and I was sold as soon as I saw her collapse it with ease! When my sister had her babies I often looked after them and spent lots of frustrating times trying to collapse the darn thing! I would end up with the baby in the car with the car door wide open (usually in the rain!) whilst I battled with the base trying to get it collapsed to fit in the boot of the car. The iCandy range must be bought from a retailer though not online for some reason, I test drove mine in John Lewis but got it cheaper from a local specialist and I believe you can wait 12 weeks plus for it to come in. Order early if that's what you decide.

I've got the strawberry and chose this pushchair as it had 5/5 stars on nearly all the websites I'd been on. Go on pushchair trader for a good review of all the pushchairs in the range!

Also victoria Beckham (peach) has one..... If its good enough for her, then it's good enough for me :happydance:

Also that's what's did test drove in John Lewis then ordered from the local boutique near me where I got a good deal, although John Lewis do price match, the boutique only sell what they have in stock so no worry that my pram won't be delivered in time for LO xxxx

Ive gone for the Apple - i just loved it ha ha! Its a pressie from my mum and dad. I wouldnt have been able to afford it otherwise

I have the Cherry and find that it is way better than almost every pushchair I've had in every way. It is well worth the extra money.

The only other one I love is my Maclarren stroller which costs much less but I personally think for a tiny baby, it's nice to have the full set up. I use my maclarren when they are toddlers.

I don't have one but know a few ppl who do, mainly for the reasons mentioned. I found though that most ppl end up purchasing a stroller at about a year old as most travel system type buggies are so heavy in comparison so just be aware of that if you're purchasing an expensive system (as in don't assume you'll get 2 to 3 yrs use from it just because it's possible!) I didn't swap, I kept with my Oyster until we pretty much stopped using a buggy altogether.
There aren't many travel systems that collapse in one, face both ways and are quite light - just iCandy, Oyster and Bugaboo I think x
