Ida too old fashioned?

I've been thinking about this name for a while although my husband was a big fat no about it, but anyway i'm sure i could change his mind. It's my dad's mum's name, i didn't know her and have nothing to do with any of his family but obviously it's something meaning full to him. I really like the name the more i think about it it just seems right. The only other option we have is Eden we either can't agree on a name or it just doesn't feel right. So it's either Ida Blaire Ri..... Or Eden Blaire Ri.....

What do you think? Is it too old fashioned?

I like them both, and I think it would be refreshing to have a little one named Ida. I think it is a very nice name

I suggested Ida but unfortunately my DH doesn't like it. If you like it, go for it! I love old people names, think we're going with Elsie x

Ps, if he isn't sure on Ida, what about Ada/Ayda/Aida? Similar but not as old sounding x
