i make my own babyfood for rhys but im fast running out of ideas for meals! he doesnt like anything creamy like rice pudding for dessert or porridge for breakfast, he hates fruit and hes not keen on water i keep trying these foods over and over again but he still doesnt like them. so at the moment hes living on carrots, sweet potato and sweetcorn! has anybody got some baby recipes that their LO likes to eat?
What age is he? I mainly did baby led weaning, and found that Seren was more likely to eat new things if she could feed herself (well anyhting but brussels lol)
You could try mash potato, butternut squash, rice with tomatoes pureed cauliflower. For brekkie you could try him a less strong fruit like pear or some sweet pineapple. I found Frankie turned up her nose at first but is now coming around to different flavours.
i cooked all my own for all mine, potato, butternut squash, colli, brocil, carrot, sweet patato, is pretty much all i did untill 5/6 months, then i gave them pasta fish and meats. For sweet things i mainly did apple, pear and apricots x
pear sounds like a good idea. i think apple is just too sweet for him at the moment!! i will buy some tomatoes and butternut squash when i go shopping later.. thanks for all your replys. layla thanks for that i was wondering when i could give him pasta etc
Pasta is not recommended till 6 months + Here are some links to BLW https://www.borstvoeding.com/voedselintroductie/vast_voedsel/rapley_guidelines.html https://www.babycentre.co.uk/baby/startingsolids/babyledweaning/ https://babyledweaning.blogware.com/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baby-led_weaning
