Hi ladies, just wanted some advice, hopefully if y'all can help me.
I feel so empty since my ectopic pregnancy, we've been ttc for 3 years for our rainbow. This month was the 2/3rd cycle off the pill doc said to try birth control for three months to regulate my body as far as my hormones. (it really did help, I'll go into that if anyone wants to know), anywho, last cycle was 22 days so i figured i didn't ovulate or i did and it was the from my left side with no tube. This cycle i ovulated on cycle day 13, if i went by last cycle 22 days, I'm late. Or am i? I don't know why I'm so confused. I've taken a test, frer, it's one of those tests where you might see a line, so I'm just waiting. I've been cramping since 5dpo, and i mean cramps! They won't stop. I'm so afraid it's ectopic again but i know that frer would be blaring positive.. I'm waiting this week to see what happens. I just hope this emptiness can soon be filled.

Just wanted to wish you good luck for your BFP!! I know what it's like to battle infertility and I also know how devastating a loss can be. Praying that 2014 is your lucky year!!!! Keep us posted :)

Any time :). Let me know if you have any questions about ivf....but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that you'll never have to worry about it ;)

Did you pay for each transfer, what company did you use?

We used fertility care in winter park. They have a flat rate program where you pay for the first cycle then if it doesn't work all subsequent cycles are free with just meds to buy. There are a few clinics out there that have programs like that. Also, there are all kinds of grants and assistance you can apply for. The cost is crappy for sure but I figure I pay more each month in car and phone bills so if I have to pay monthly for babies I will! Lol...

Thank you! I'm not so much worried about cost, I'm worried about clinics and how they operate i guess that's the right wording.. i want something with "flat rate" so to speak. I don't even know where to start here. I think ivf is my best bet.

I guess like you are saying i don't mind paying for my babies so i don't mind cost. :)

UPDATE::

Today I'm 13dpo, and bfn, 5 days late and no sign of af, have that "wet"feeling, but been like that for a week. Going to wait it out! Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since i ovulated so I'm guessing if she's coming she'll come tomorrow if my lp is 14 days.
We shall see.. ;)

So last month was a bust! and tomorrow we have our first IVF appt!! the front desk "slammed" with "you know this costs $15,000-$20,000 right?"
i was about to tell her "no shit" i'm well aware!!!

Do you know what programs or where i can start applying for before the appointment? I'm so excited it's starting to sink in. I'm praying that they can do something this cycle since i'm going to be ending the cycle soon. :) :happydance:

Go to creatingafamily.org and fertilehopes.org to start with. Also, my clinic actually supplied us with the name of local organizations...so be sure to ask!! Are you using the same clinic as you did for your iui treatments? If so, they'll have all your blood work and info so they'll pop you on bc right away I would think. Good luck!! So exciting!!!!! :)

No, This is a different clinic and I am going to get my report from a different doctor that did my iui and all the other procedures. I hope they can start doing something. They start you on birth control?

I'm just so excited I just want to know what will happen and when we can start the process lol

Yes, they'll put you on bc to get control of your cycle. You'll be on it for a week or two then go off it, get your period and then start your injections to produce follicles. Every protocol is tailored to you though so the length of time may vary and of course your Dr may have medication preferences. I'm sure a lot if it is similar to iui, but I've never had iui so I'm only going on what I know of ivf. :) My doc charges $2500 for iui but told us it could take 3 or 4 attempts to get lucky so his opinion (for our particular case) was to go for ivf. There are things they do in ivf that increase your odds such as assisted hatching and icsi....which we did both. My advice would be to start a thread asking fir April/May ivf buddies. :) I did and all but 2 of the girls got a bfp. It was great to check in with each other and cheer each other on. :)

Thank you so much! I feel so new at this kinda makes feel like a virgin lol.
I can't to see what they have to tell me tomorrow and I will definitely start that thread. Just like to know your preference since you have already been through it. It's nice to see that it worked for you. We've already done IUI, i don't want to do that again. I'm ready for this ivf and get our baby. Thank you so much for all your advise i greatly appreciate it. :happydance:

I understand how you feel. We had to borrow money from my mom in law but before she stepped forward to offer I was planning on taking out a personal line of credit. There's no question that the cost of ivf is crazy high.....it stinks :(

:hugs:

Not to mention you are not guaranteed a baby. and on some plans you could possibly lose out on that money.

DH said he wants to IUI with clomid with this new doctor and have them monitor me. to see.... :dohh:

ey girls- so I went in for the follicle scan...because i got a positive LH surge on Tuesday and Wednesday... well needless to say the Nurse asked me if I was pregnant.. CAUSE-- my endometrium lining was between 15-21mm.. She said that there could possibly be a pregnancy, or conception already has occured. She did a blood test preg, progesterone, and estrodial. The preg came back neg (she said it's probably to early), the progesterone was 6.3, and estrodial was 70. she said ovulation has already taken place and could have been a week ago or a couple of days ago. I told her i had a period on March 28th- i said it was blood, and clots.. She said that doesn't matter. I have to wait a week and take a urine preg. test..

I'm so confused i thought i knew my body the last three years. however, i'm confused on this and can't figure it out. DH said "it's meant for you to figure out"...

I would be amazing if you were preggers already!! Keep us posted :)
