If MMR gives your child measles, or cold symptoms, should you avoid activities with children who could have not had their jabs?

Caitlyn has her MMR on Monday and she has Gym and Swimming on Tuesday :dohh: I wouldn't want to make other children sick though!

I think there is no issue with transmission but it was yonks ago byron had his so it's possible I don't remember rightly. Did you get some info with the jab? If not give the nurse a bell tomorrow.

As far as i know there is not risk of tranmission. Most children won't get any symtoms.

I'd ask while you are there getting the jab. Most kids won't get any reaction, but it's always good to ask.

Nah I think risk of infection to other kids wouldnt be a problem.

Personally (with Seth anyway because his immune system has always been pretty low) Id be worried about her picking up a cold or something from another child when her body is trying to fight the bug from the MMR if that makes sense? Like I say though, I only say that with the trouble we've had with Seth being poorly a lot :)
