What would it be?

I'm fine with the day to day stuff, but feel clueless with regards to how my baby is developing & what I should be doing to help/encourage this.

Can anyone recommend a good general covers-all-topics book please? (no idea when I'll have time to read it though!!)

Thanks x

I'd highly recommend the wonder weeks. Its more about developmental milestones than phyical ones but gives really good ideas of games to play etc which will help with each particular 'leap'.

This book saved my sanity many times :)

I asked the same question recently and ended up buying 'What to expect the first year', I love it

I have 'Your baby week by week' by Simone Cave and Dr Caroline Fertleman - I've found it really useful, it basically tells you what you can expect each week regarding feeds, sleep, nappies, bathing. All broken into nice little sections that are easy to dip into when you have a few spare minutes!

This book is brilliant, so many ideas and valuable pieces of advice, would recommend to everyone! :)

We didn't use any books, not our thing, but from what I've seen on here, I would recommend the wonder weeks book over any others.
