If your first was overdue, what about #2?

We have a supplemental insurance policy that won't cover any birth within 9 months of its start date. It starts paying out April 1 and I'm due March 31. So, I'm really hoping I go overdue again! Just curious how it's gone for others

My first was 12 days overdue so I assumed my second would be overdue too, but she arrived on her due date!

Didn't happen for us. Dd was 4 days late but ds arrived at 38 weeks (went in to labour 5 days before planned section) xxx

Both mine were over due . First was born 11 days late and second 5 days late X

Sorry but it's completely unpredictable!
First baby - induced at 42 weeks
Second baby - arrived spontaneously at 42 weeks
Third baby - arrived spontaneously one day after due date

Thanks ladies I know other people's experiences have no bearing on how it'll go for me, but as we are looking toward the new year and budgeting out our lives, I'm starting to dwell on it more than I should. The difference will be at least $6k for us if the kid comes before or on his/her due date. Ugh, I hate insurance!

I'm just going to focus on those replies that went over for both/all ;-)

Both were overdue... My doctor said it's very common for the second to be overdue if the first was. I can say, though, that my second labour was a walk in the park

DD1 was 9 days over. Ended up with an induction. DD2 just arrived 5 days early !.
