Sooooo.

I did it.

I bought a dream genii cover for £8.50 from Ebay and then stuffed it with old pillow filling (free) and sewed the hole up and HEY PRESTO - a very heap dream genii!!!

I've used it for a few nights and it seems to be fine, I'm going to make it another cover so I can wash it, just by drawing round it and sewing the edges up. But yeay - I'm proud of myself for saving money!

great idea- ive bought a dream genii and tbh i think they are very over priced, i managed to get mine cheaper on ebay (£35 so £10 less than normal) but when I saw the quality (or lack of!) i really think they are a rip off.
its not much good to me yet but i guess i may appreciate it more later on

That's a genius idea!!!! They seem hugely overpriced otherwise, might have a go myself!!!

Just realised the shocking pun there. Completely unintentional!

hahahah I love a good pun!

I just thought £45 was ALOT! And I had old pillows lying about. I just fluffed the filling and then sewed in a line down the two sides of the 'under back' section to make that bit flat.

What are they??

I wondered that also :winkwink: just back from google Lol its a pillow you can use for bump support and breastfeeding ...seemed to be some you could use as a support around baby when they are old enough to want to sit up but cant support themselves : )

Oh i just bought one of them there also called a widgey pillow??

Oh no different thing but i have one of them too i got it from argos!
