Hello

I'm back :(

It's taken me a while but on 15 December last year I lost another baby boy at 18 weeks. Exactly a year and one month since I lost Preston. We named our angel Alfie-Jack and saw him off to heaven on Xmas eve with a beautiful service.

So yeah that's it really; if anyone is ttc after multiple losses and has any advice please let me know I've had one early, one missed and two late miscarriages now and we've just started ttc again.

The docs have no answers for me but think it could be an incompetent cervix and have suggested stitching me at 14w next time.

Of anyone has had multiple losses, what investigations have you had?

Hoping for someone to talk to xx

I've only had one loss last March, so I'm probably not much help myself but hopefully this helps! or at least provides some hope.

I have a friend that had 3 miscarriages before her last baby was born healthily last fall. :happydance: I think for her she tried conceiving too soon after her miscarriages and just needed to relax. I also know another couple who out of their 6 pregnancies had one that was born, all other 5 miscarried. So basically, never give up hope!!

And, you probably know this stuff already, but my doctor said to take the prenatal vitamin daily, eat healthy, try to track your cycle, and relax to keep stress low while trying to conceive.

Hope this helps some! :hugs:

I'm not sure what tests you have had done, but my doctor said to take 4g of folic acid in case I have MTHFR and a baby aspirin in case I have clotting disorders. I haven't been tested for these and she doesn't think it's necessary yet since I've only had 1 mc, but said that both of these things don't have any side effects so there is no harm in taking them. Also re: the stitching the cervix, I have a friend who kept losing babies from 12-17 weeks and she had her cervix stitched and carried to term. Good luck, sweetie. :flower:
