I'm confused

Hiya

Can someone help? I'm not sure if I'm actually logged in! I enter my username, it says welcome, then tells me I'm not logged in. Obviously I'm able to write this so I'm confused. No threads or order of threads have changed in 3 days and my comments haven't been added. Can anyone shed any light? I hope this makes sense.
