Have just gone on Proctor and Gamble website and it's got both sodium hydroxide and sodium chloride in it. Maybe it's your body saying you need more salt (sodium chloride) or dairy (sodium hydroxide is an additive to some cheeses/dairy products)?

I'm no dietician or nutritionist so may well be talking out of my nose but maybe worth having some ready salted crisps or dairy to see if it makes a difference? Will taste nicer than Fairy!

i can see myself now
my OH will come home from work and i'll be sat on the sofa with numerous empty bottles of fairy and a foamy mouth!!!!
