Im really confused after implanon removal x

Hey everyone,

I am just after a little bit of help.

I came off the implant on the 2 September after 2 years, I had a small withdrawal bleed about 3 days later that lasted about 2 days then on the 11 October i had a normal period that lasted 6/7 days - would i class this as my proper Af??

Me and my OH have been bedding alot thinking that my cycle was back to normal but this month i am still waiting for af to come?? I have had mild cramping and bloatyness for about a week now but that's it?

I was just wondering how long it takes for my cycle to get back to normal, i had regular bleeds when i was on the implant - i dont know if that makes any difference to my cycle now?

Hi,

I also came off Implanon recently, had a 'normal' period 2 weeks later, but then waited 40 days for next period, during which time I felt really grim! Now that one is over and i'm CD17, don't know when to expect AF tho.. *sigh* does make it quite difficult not knowing what dates are what! My Doctor did assure me that 'normal' fertility returns in about 6hrs after removal tho so hopfully we will get good news soon enough!!

Hiya dudesmum,

Aww i thought i was going to completely miss mine this month with being 7 days late so i was stressing a bit, but it turned up this afternoon - aww god, i need to stop obsessing and relax a bit - that is my plan for next month anyways.

It is really frustrating thou, hopefully we will get our cycles back to normal soon x

I know what you mean about obsessing, my Son was a very happy surprise so i've never 'planned' a baby before, it amazes me, I fell pg on the pill whilst not trying with my son, now i'm trying and it seems so bloomin difficult! (I know its only been 3 months but i'm so impatient!)
