Im scared

I lost my baby on the 18th of this month , the doc said the baby had died 2 weeks prior and it had stopped growing inside of me , he said that I would pass tissue and white stuff , so far all i have passed is huge blood clot a bit bigger then a soft ball , was the baby inside of that maybe ? Im still bleeding , the cramps have finally eased off a bit today , im afraid i didnt pass everything and im so afriad to get a d&c done . I was 11 weeks when this happened , does this sound normal ?

Hi I am so sorry you are going through this I know from mine an form reading on here the sac looks different to clots sorry tmi but clots are dark an red my sac looked more grey sort of brain like really hope that helps my mmc took 3wks to pass with 2failed medical managements through out that time i passed quite a few clots but when sac eventually passed I just knew it was different obviously tmi again but I had to lift it out toilet to look but im so glad I did because I knew it was eventually over x

Are they monitoring your hormone level? I Miscarried 1.5 weeks ago and am getting blood work once a week until my HCG reaches 0. This is a reassurance you passed everything...

the dr pulled mine out i was passing clots when i took the pills the next day the doc did a ultrasound to see if the baby was out said there was one last piece inside and he can pull it out it hurt alot but as soon as he got it out every pain went away.

i got my blood done till i was at 7 got my period a week or 2 later

Im going to have to make an appointment with an OB but think I wont go to my regular ob because its an hr drive so maybe I will find one closer to my town and get things taken care of , I really need to know if all of this stuff is out of me . thanks girls .

If you do have to have a d&c it really isn't as bad as what you might expect. I had mine done on the 21st of September and now today(the 25th) I have almost completely stopped spotting and have only used OTC pain meds the last few days for very mild discomfort. I was 11weeks 6days and baby had stopped growing a week before at 10weeks 6 weeks. Hopefully you can find someone closer to you that you can get into see soon to make sure everything has passed!! Good luck!!

You will be able to Differentiate the sac/baby from the Clots, I had been passing huge black/dark red clots for 2 days ( I just assumed this was the baby/sac) then yesterday I had really bad contraction pain and felt the need to push. and there it was sitting on my Pad. Definitely a different colour as Mrskg said it was greyish. looked like a deflated sac, and could see the fetal pole.

So now I'm relieved it passed naturally and I got to bury it in a rose bush & say my goodbye. Think thats helped the grieving process for me.

My first miscarriage was the size of my palm, like a steak and like mrskg says brainlike with a kidney shaped deep red clot like bit (the baby) in it. like bfpsoon also says, I had conractions. I also had one about a week afterwards as the womb realigned and I was about 8 weeks

2nd time, just a heavy preiod, but was only about 4 weeks
