I'm sooo cruel! but funny!

My mums friend is pregnant and 2 weeks behind me, as she is older (40) they are not going to let her go over and are already starting to give sweeps.

Anyway I am now 6 days over and it is becoming a running joke that she will go into labour before me, my mum was on the phone to her and thought it would be funny to wind me and OH up and started saying "Oh you have had it,bla bla bla" She was off course joking and thought it would be funny too see our faces!

Anyway I decided it was payback time, and went into the kitchen an hour later and poured some water down me and on the floor and shouted "mum, quick my my waters have gone". She came running in and shouted "yay" and then "dont panic I will get a towel" and then she went running off! Me and my OH were cracking up, and when she came back she still didnt cotton on and asked us why we were laughing! Eventually she realised, and called me a cow, but saw the funny side!

I did feel bad, as she got so excited and started running about like a headless chicken, but at the same time was sooo funny!

Im goin for a walk with her later (she convinece it will get me into labour! lol) and goin back to hers for dinner she said my waters best not go on her cream carpets...

Yeah thought about recording after... doh! Would have been a great one for youtube!

Bless her, she said in the 1 minute it all happened she was thinking who she needs to ring, what she needs to do, etc. And the best was her shouting "Don’t panic, when it was only her running about panicking!"

I would definitely recommend it, I am so miserable from being overdue and it cheered me up no end, even though I do wish it was the real thing!

this is hilarious! i am tempted to do this to DH as he is constantly asking me every 15 minutes "are you feeling anything?" and asking me why im not getting this show on the road already. i am only 1 day over, but im already tired of the constant asking. and up until now my only answer has been "yea...im feeling like im 9 months pregnant!" i might try this little water trick, but im nervous he will kill me when he finds out its a joke...
