that there is something physically wrong with my body
I am now 10 days overdue and i havn't even had BHs. On Monday i was 2CM dilated, 50% effaced, and stationed at -1... i believe i may have progressed since then...but 10 DAYS?!?! They even did a stretch and sweep on Monday. OB said it would would work within 72 hours...so much for that!
Im really starting to believe that my body isn't working. Why havn't i even had ONE contraction yet? i mean, i mentally prepared myself to go overdue...but not THIS overdue

Trust your body - it does know what its doing!!! You'll have your baby soon and then all of the worry won't even matter any more.

Are you still hoping for the water birth hun? I really hope something happens for you, I know a few people who say they never felt their Braxton hicks contractions so it does happen, if you are 2cm dilated and 50% effaced then something is happening down there and fingers crossed it will happen soon!!! xxxx

Thanks ladies. Im *really* hoping to still get that water birth...as long as im not hooked up to drugs then that is possible. I just wish something would happen. Waking up every morning and realizing nothing happened...well its getting tough. Physically i feel great and i love being pregnant. But this waiting game is really getting to me.

Guppy the baby will come. Remember due dates are just estimates made by humans. Your body is already working and your baby will be here before you know it.

it must be so frustrating, but at 2cm and 50% something is definately going on. some women don't ever feel their BH, doesn't mean they aren't happening.

it's not gonna be much longer. i told you baby is having too much fun in there. you are doing a good job of making lo want to stay in mommy!

And try to remember that your EDD has an error margin of about +/- 5-7 days. So taking that into consideration you're body and baby may just not be ready yet.

Was REALLY hoping not to need to go to my appt. tomorrow...but its looking like i am. Though i have been getting a lot more menstrual type cramps. They last for about 20 min. constant and then go away, and then come back for another 20 minutes whenever. Also, they havn't gotten more intense hopefully im making progress, but idk

damn...really wish i didn't have to go tomorrow...i know they will give me the third degree about induction
