so i had my 34+5 midwife appt today and bump is still measuring 29cm:cry:. i have to go back in tomorrow and have a gtt and check my iron levels (i assume because i have a low bmi). the midwife said to me to keep a close eye on her movements and make sure the pattern dont change...only thing is my baby doesnt seem to have a pattern she seems to be very random but she is active alot in the day so i never worried about it:blush:.
any i deas how im ment to track her movements?
is there a min on how many kicks there r ment to be in a day?
and has any one had IUGR because this is really worring me now:cry:

I've had IUGR in the past. She was 5.8lbs at 38 weeks when I was induced.

This time, I am also measuring 5/6 cm behind on fundal height but the growth scans have revealed a snallish but within "normal range" baby and the fluid and placenta are good.

Have u asked about a growth scan, I'd say you need one.

It's hard to track movements, mine has never had a "routine" as long as you don't go hours without feeling anything it is ok.

My baby has never stuck to any 'pattern'...just moves when he likes! Do you know what position the baby is in? Mine was often transverse so caused me to measure small. Some people just carry small! I worried about this at my 31 week appointment and so that night paid for a 4D scan to be done and it showed him measuring 2 weeks ahead instead of behind! If your midwife was very worried she would have sent you straight for a scan today. If you are going to really worry about it, call your hospital and say how concerned you are and see if they can fit you in. Measuring fundal height is notoriously inaccurate anyway...I'm only slim like you and think how can they expect my tummy to measure the same as someone who was really big before they got pregnant? Good luck xxx

There ya go, maybe she measures differently to other people. I've had a midwife put their hand at the top of where my uterus is, when I know it's higher than that because when I get a braxton hicks it goes really hard, and she was at least an inch below that. Try not to worry...but if you can't stop, contact your FMU and just go on about how worried you are. I've been a bunch of times, I don't care what they think, lol x
