it messed with me loads i had periods nonstop for about five months
so they gave me a low dose of the pill to control it.
it also gives a lot of pregnancy symptoms, headaches and moodswings ect...
i also found a site and a lot of women on it said thay had got pregnant on it
but apparently the hormones in it can overide the preg hormone so they were getting negative tests even when they were preg a very scary thought! x

^^ same, only i got periods for 2 years, i didn't want to take it out
no other birth control is really suitable for me
anyway, the pregnant while on the implant is most likely big BS,
check where that message is coming from and be critical,
it's the internet after all....
it's 99.9% effective (and that's only bc it's not allowed for any medication to say it's 100%),
that comes from doctors and studies, i trust those alot more
right, getting it out... nah, doesn't hurt
you feel the pulling a bit but nothing else, feels weird though
i now have a small + and ° sign on my arm lol

I had it out the dr was a complete moron.
First he said it was too deep and i might have to have it out under general anasthetic!(wtf!)
Then he decided he would try and thankfully managed to get it out with a lot of prodding and poking but its ok now healing ok xx
