Hey Ladies,

I need help! I had my implant removed on 31st August. I have been having unprotected sex since as I am ttc. However, I haven't bled at all since removal. Over the last few days I have been experiencing pregnancy symptoms, such as sore breasts and fatigue. About a week ago I had this dull annoying feeling in what felt like my left ovary. I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was a :bfp:
I was just wondering whether I may be pregnant or is the implant playing naughty tricks on me. Would it also be too soon to test? Thanks.

If you got a positive on a pregnancy test then you are pregnant.

You were just one of the lucky girls who got pregnant the month after stopping BC, which happens a lot.

Congratulations!

:dohh: Oh dear! I meant :bfn: I am sooo not used to this as I am new! Sorry :(

OHHH Well in that case,

I didnt get my period for four months after stopping Nuvaring. I am currently taking Provera to jump start my period and then starting Clomid as I havent ovulated on my own since stopping that damned birth control. NEVER AGAIN!

Some women go back to regular cycles quickly after stopping and some dont. A few girls I am friends with on here got their implant taken out over three months ago and one is still waiting for her first period. My other friend got hers on cd80.

I hope this doesnt happen to you. But it could take a long time and lead to more serious complications. If you dont get your period by the end of October, I would go see a DR. They might say to wait a little longer, but they might help you out then.

Either way, Welcome to BnB and good luck!

I had the nexplanon and tbh I am not having that again! I had so much trouble from it.. although I never had AF. I really do hope my cycle goes back to normal asap! Desperate to give my little angel in heaven a brother or sister. If my cycles don't return to normal soon I will NEVER go back on BC. I would rather just use a condom tbh. :) I did check my cervix last night and it was soo high up I couldn't even feel it! Now is that normal or what? :)

Maybe! Could you be ovulating now?

Are you doing anything to monitor yourself? OPKs or anything?

I might be but I am not sure. And I am not, but I might invest in some :)
And If I am ovulating it will be possible to conceive after having a wonderful weekend with the mister ;) :hugs:

i had an implant as well..and just a word of caution...the first cycle off of it..you are more likely to get pregnant...but also more likely to miscarry :( ...id wait to TTC for at least two months just to be safe....

How come that happens then? :( I don't want to miscarry, I lost my first baby girl to Turner Syndrome at 18 weeks gestation on July 4th 2010 last year :( I can't bear to lose another one.

not sure why..just what i was told when mine was removed...(mine actually "fell out") but im sorry to hear about your loss :hugs: and im not trying to scare you by any means..just trying to warn you..although there are some woman who get pregnant first time around and do have healthy and happy babies...

Well I hope if I do happen to be pregnant that everything will be okay, fingers crossed. And it's okay, you haven't really scared me, but I am shocked that it could happen. If it happens then it will be natures way in saying it was a bit too soon. But I really hope everything is okay. Just want to give my little princess a brother or sister to watch over. :)

Morning ladies,
Still no more news! :( Took a PT this morning, and :bfn: :dohh:
I haven't even had :witch: arrive yet, I am getting extremely frustrated! What should I do? It's been 3 weeks since implant removal

Your dr is probably going to make you wait a little while before he will give you something.

Not ovulating directly off birth control is not uncommon. As I said (or maybe I didnt.. idk) I havent ovulated in four months after stopping birth control and had to be put on fertility meds.

HOWEVER. I have several friends on here who did ovulate a couple to a few weeks after stopping birth control.

Out of the two girls I talked to who had the implant, one still hasnt had her period four months later and the other one ovulated and got back on a regular cycle right away.

If it goes on for too much longer, maybe get a HCG test at the DRs to make sure your HPTs just are not registering it and then go from there.

I wish you all the luck honey! This process is grueling and horrible. Especially when all these women get pregnant so easily and we cant.

But you just had your implant out three weeks ago. give it just a little longer. :hugs: I KNOW it is upsetting.. oh boy do I know. But you will get answers soon.

Hmmmm it's real frustrating as I am SOOO impatient. I know for definite I am NEVER going to use the implant again. Not if it is going to cause all these problems. I had my implant in June 16th and had it removed 31st August, so I only had it a few months. Surely the hormones would have left my system pretty quick.. idk :(
I am gonna leave it until the 3 month mark for :witch: to turn up or to find out if I am pregnant. If not I will then go to the doctors. I think that is a reasonable time to wait.
I have been using good HPTs and I used clearblue digital the other day and nothing
But good luck for trying to conceive. I think it would be nice to stay in touch on this thread so we can see eachothers progress :) :dust: to you hunnii!

AF arrived yesterday :D So fingers crossed that I may get my :bfp: this month! You never know :)

I am happy AF arrived for you so you can start TTC!

Thankyou! It's been a long 5 weeks that's for sure! -.- Fingers crossed :D You ttc? :dust: to you if you are! :)xx
