implantation bleed question????

Hi Ladies

I am currently around 5/6 DPO and this morning after wiping (sorry TMI coming up) I noticed a spec of bright red blood mixed in with lots of light brown and white clumpy CM. What on earth??? The CM part I think of well that could be anything but never had anything red blood related this early before-do you think 5/6 dpo way to early to poss be implantation?

I'm trying to remain realistic as we only managed to BD once around ovulation so very unlikely toresult in BFP but still cant help but hope.

Hey,

Am glad you posted this as have had exactly the same thing followed by fuuny cramps.....i have three babies, and havent had this experience before. I am on day 12 now and hjave tested neg, but around day 6 i got symptoms as if af was coming, but nothing? with no 1 i had a small bleed around time period is due, and i get it at ov....but i certainly dont think thats too early as only takes five/6-12 days to fertilize and implant. i still feel like af due but should have it now...have you had any cramps?

I'm in a similar boat. I'm either about 10dpo or 17dpo (not sure as Ov varies from CD9 to CD14). I've just started brown spotting today. I got this last time I got a BFP in january at 4 weeks but then m/c'd at 5 weeks. I'm hoping this is implantation bleeding. I've had cramps on and off for about 7 days now. Have tested a couple of times already but all were BFN. Will try and hold out until the 29th before testing again. As long as the spotting doesn't turn into bleeding, then I guess it will be game over.

Oh thanks Mamaof3 thats really good to hear-I never know whether to post this kinda stuff so glad it's relevant to you too. I have had a pressure type feeling low down, with very mild cramps every once in a while. I usually get the pressure pain just after OV tho.

Yours sounds really promising if your due and AF hasnt arrived that is a definate good sign!!! I'd try tomorrow morning and see how you go. Keep me posted!

Bluebell got my fingers and toes crossed for you, that the Brown stuff goes away and gives you a BFP instead!

yeah, i just dont want to test too early,ya know, so may leave it a couple of days!!! My ov pain is more one sided generally......i def have cramps like af...but no period is a good sign i guess!!! Bluebell....i had a bit of brown discharge with last preg, and was told it was hormonal, but could also be old blood from ov/implantation thats been hanging around a while. im sorry to hear of ur loss last time .........but cramps are most likely uterus stretching...hard not to over think these things isnt it?! yeah keep posting girlies...hope all goes well x x x

i am so glad to have found you guys!
i have had three pregnancies each ending in a miscarriage, and never had implantation bleeding with any of them, so i am not exactly sure if i am experiencing it now.
two days ago, just before bed, some brown spotting when wiping - expected i would get AF by morning, but didn't. yesterday -some wicked cramping my my lower pelvic area and a bit more spotting when wiping, but then it stopped. today - no spotting, a few tinges of cramps in lower pelvic area...
don't know when/if i ovulated and don't know when to expect AF since my miscarriage in december went on and on and i bled for 90 days(!?) but, i noticed symptoms of ovulation on the 16/17 of march and am thinking AF should be here on the 31st of march of 1st of april. we have been ttc everyday!!! hard not to get too hopeful and i think waiting another week is going to kill me. it is all i can think about.

Sorry to hear youve had a dificult time. I really hope it is good news for ya this time(my best friend just had her fourth m/c and its heart breaking!)....it is a difficult wait, especially when ur cycles are a bit iregular, ur not alone tho!!! My crazy hormones are a bit up&down as stoped feeding lo three months ago, so really hoping i calculated rite....ah well. Do ur cramps come and go?Do they feel like af cramps? Hope you have good support from oh/family...look forward to chatting soon...keep posting hun.

yes - the cramps come and go. not so bad today, just twinges now and again. something is going on down there! also, i have been up in the night to pee everynight. i do remember that from the past three pregnancies. i am cautiously optimistic and won't breath a word to my husband. i don't want him to get his hopes up if this doesn't result with a positive. my only reason for thinking it might not be is because my boobs don't hurt, and they would always be sooo painful with the previous. maybe it is still too soon?

Yep, i got no bleeding whatsoeva at mo....gona give it a week, and then maybe pester docs for a blood test. I read somewhere that low progesterone can sometimes affect hpts, which after breastfeeding Lo i may have,altho had two normal 25day cycles since i stoped! Soz to hear you gottoo bluebell...guess we'll both have to wait and see&there is always next month. going to invest in an ov monitor if still not happening next month...sooooo impatient.x

Aww so sorry to hear about your bfn ladies, but that damn witch hasnt arrived yet so your def not out!!! Really hoping your little beans are just shy at them moment and will show up next week.

I now have a bad case of thrush which isnt much fun at all! Have been trying to find out if anyone else has had this as a symptom but no luck-i'm not testing till Friday so will be keeping my eye out for you two this week and hopefully some good news.x
