Implantation bleeding and when to test?

Hi there! If any ladies can help me out I'd much appreciate it. Twice yesterday after using the loo I wiped and there was the tiniest orange speck on the toilet paper. It looked like the size of the tip of a pencil if that makes any sense. The color also looked akin to rust. I have two questions:

*has anyone ever experienced IB like this? I've always read that IB is more like spotting.
*when can I test after IB? This happened last night around 9pm.

If it was IB you should be able to test in about 48 hours.
