Implantation bleeding or af?

Maybe you girls can give me some insight!

Three days ago I started having this pinching on my left side and also started having cramps - they felt just like af cramps. This continued until yesterday, when I started spotting light pink discharge. Then late last night I started bleeding but it was very light and more of a dark pink blood rather than red. This morning, I've been having trickles of red blood, but the blood doesn't look as bright red as af usually is. I've also been having the pinching feeling along with the bleeding, but the pinching had has gotten much more uncomfortable. I took a test this morning but it was a bfn.

I feel like this is implantation bleeding but there's also fear that it's af! She's not due for 4 more days.

Well if the bleeding stops quickly it could well be implantation, if it keeps going and gets heavier AF is early... I wouldn't expect a test to be positive at 10dpo so wait a couple of days and test again?

I don't know your full background here, but from what it sounds like, with you getting the BFN and all, it does sound like AF probably just came early. Implantation bleeding usually only lasts a few days and generally gets lighter as the days progress.

If you really believe it should be implantation bleeding, I would suggest waiting until the day AF is due and then taking a test, so there'll be less of a question, but it sounds like you just had an early AF. Sorry

Could the pinching be implantation? I've never had this feeling with af. I had this exact same pinching in the very early pregnancy with my daughter so that's what makes me think it's possibly implantation.

Has anyone ever experienced heavy implantation bleeding?

If its IB it will have no flow, if it flows its AF!

With my implantation bleeding, I thought it was the beginning of AF. It was light and brown at first, but then it picked up (never really a flow). I even used tampons. I just assumed AF was on the way. This happened for like 3 days then stopped. Then I finally took a test that came out positive.

I'm still having bleeding. It's off and on, sometimes it will completely stop for a few hours! My period has never stopped on the first day - the heaviest it gets is a few drops on the pad every hour or couple of hours and sometimes when I go to the bathroom there's a two or three drops of blood. The blood is very dark reddish-pink, like rasberry jam (lol sorry tmi!) It's not a flow really - it's like a very light period - but it's definitely not spotting.

I've also been having the pinching feeling in my left side right about my pubic bone. It comes and goes, but I noticed when it's very stong is when I have a few drops of blood. And I'm having frequent heart palpitations! I've been getting them for about a week now- atleast once or twice an hour.

I tested again to today but it's only been 1 day and a half sine the bleeding started so I think it's too soon.

My left hip joint has been aching too and my I have this full feeling in my uterus.

How long should this bleeding last? I'm almost 100% sure this isn't my period. I've never had a period like this and this pinching feeling feels just like it did when I was pregnant with my daughter.

So I guess I'll test again in a few days!

I'd say wait a couple days and test again if you are unsure.
