Implantation "pinch" (or stab? or stitch? don't know what to call it)

Let me start off by saying I am an obsessive Google-er (googler?)

I've been searching for so long on this and I can't find any answers, so here I am, starting a new thread!

Ok, the evening of 11/16 (9dpo) I felt this horrible, quick, 2 second sharp pain my uterus (a little on the left side). It was painful and made me keel over due to the aweful pain, but it was gone almost as soon as it started.

Tested the next morning, and BFN...(not testing again until 11/20).

So what do you ladies think? Has anyone heard of this as a symptom of the little bean snuggling in?

I had a really sharp pain like that yesterday at 5:30 in the morning (that was 6 dpo for me), it was completely centered down i the uterus area and it hurt so badly that it woke me up out of a dead sleep - but just like you, mine only lasted about 30 seconds to a minute......I'm hope it was implantation for both of us

ive been having af twinges all week not due on for ageeeeeeeeeeeessssssssss to ive not really been focusing on it but then last night i had a very sharp pain much like u discribe which was gone as soon as it came and i just went OWWWWWWWWW and my hubby said what i was like feels like someones just stabbed me but im fine now! and ive still got af type twinges strange.......

I seriously never knew what this 'pinching' was until TODAY, since early this afternoon I have been having this pinching sensation too!

It definitely feels different from cramping, or from gas, or from being hungry, etc.

For me though it is odd, because I've never experienced this before but I am technically on CD8, assuming the bleeding I had start a week before this was in fact AF. It was much shorter and a bit lighter so this whole past week has been odd for me, including this new pinching business.

Are you sure you had AF? I recently read someone's BFP announcement and she said she got her BFP a week after what she thought was her period, but turned out to be implantation bleeding.

Was it a week before you were due? Did you test at all?

Not trying to get your hopes up but if you're still having weird symptoms and your period was unusually light/short, maybe you should think about that...lol

Well that's what I've been wondering honestly, whether it was truly AF. It was early, but only by a couple days (what I thought was 10 dpo). But I don't chart or temp so I'm not exactly sure when I ov'd. I expected AF Saturday or Sunday, and it came Thursday, and was gone by Saturday when I normally expect it for 5 days full on. Tested BFN Saturday, but oddly continued to have AF cramps and now today this pinching thing even though 'AF' has been gone awhile.... very strange! Have also been feeling lightheaded and a bit nauseated. It's so hard to tell if it's all 'real' though!!

My plan is to test again tomorrow FMU since I have one HPT (FRER) left...

Have you experienced symptoms like this in a previous cycle? I haven't, at least that I have noticed.

No, I sure haven't. I've NEVER had cramps continue after AF was over...that's really strange! Good luck with your testing! Keep this thread updated as I would love to know what happens

Hey gals, just wanted to update this thread!

I tested yesterday FMU which was a week after the start of my AF/suspected possible IB, and it was BFN. I'm still having some symptoms but I'm going to try to just forget about it and assume that it was AF and it's just my hormones messing with me!

We won't have the chance to DTD again until May because DH is military, so I figure I'll spend this time figuring out the ol' hormones and maybe looking into temping and pinpointing my ov time.
