I don't know if it is standard but I was dead impressed with the welcome pack I got from the daycare I've just enrolled LO in. It all came in a hessian bag and in total we got:

Toothbrush
Toothpaste
Sippy Cup (tommee tippee)
Wooden stacking rings
Height wall chart
Make your own memory box
Usbourne board book (about food)
Crayons
Pen
Car sunshade
Drawstring bag for LO's "school" stuff

I think that's all. I mean I know I just handed over a massive reservation/booking fee, but I wasn't expecting free stuff so it pleased me a lot!

Hah freaky, I have that exact same freebie pack! My mum used to work in a daycare and they gave her one of those packs to send to me. Maria loves the wooden stacking rings (well loves to chew on them)

Hehe - yeah LO loves them too, which is handy as we've just hit teething!
