i went to the town hall last night for a concert my sister was doing and i was well impressed with a sign on the ladies' door

"you are welcome to breastfeed here or anywhere you feel comfortable. If you would like a private room please ask"

i've never seen that before anywhere! i mean, the room wasnt exactly set up for BF, but still! i suppose they've got to do it with it being the council buildings and whatnot!

That's really enlightened...I've only seen one room in a public space in this whole blasted country designated for nursing, and that was in a baby goods store.

and to get one of those signs they are checked regularly and have to ALWAYS be BF friendly - no matter who might complain. My hospital and GP surgery have those official ones and quite a few businesses (M&S and various other cafes) in my town have joined our local campaign......https://www.onlynatural.org.uk/

Brilliant!! It's good that it's coming up on other organisations agendas apart from the almost 'obvious' ones - NHS etc.
