:( in hospital and supply dropping?

Helloe ladies

I'm in hospital with renal colic and i can't have albert here with me. Since 1
11 o'clock yesterday morning i only managed to express twice, 7oz by hand and 10oz when the nurses arranged a medela for me. I hadn't been able to feed the night before because i was in too much pain. I fed him at about 9 this morning and he was fyssing at the breast and now i can only get 3oz using the medela - have i messed up my supply?

i doubt you'd have such a rapid decrease in your milk overnight really. Keep expressing as much as you can. I think he was prob fussing at the breast cos he picked up on your anxiety.

No hun your supply wont go down in one day if you've been BFing for 3 months now! Dont worry about that at all. xx

I've haven't really fed him that much for 3 days and 2 nights now... probably 5 times. I keep trying to express but nothing is coming out at all now. I really hope it hasn't affected it, i'll be devastated!
