fsh levels in a healthy woman in her 30s should be no higher than 12ish. the higher it is the harder your body is working to ovulate and usually no ovulation happens at all.
 
So sorry about your bad news KL. I feel your pain. I was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure in January, at age 30. I'm still getting periods (and appear to be ovulating) but my cycles are getting shorter and shorter, and my periods are light and super-short. It's like things are drying up! So far we have not identified a cause - just bad genes I guess.

Has anyone recommended you take DHEA? My RE has me on 75mg of pharmaceutical-grade DHEA a day. It's supposed to boost egg quality in women with diminished ovarian reserve and potentially with POF, since quality is said to decline with quantity.
 
thanks ferndalegirl, I will definitely check into the DHEA. I am open to any and all options!
