These are two very different names, but they have emerged as our two favorites.

We may just wait to meet our baby before making a final decision, but I'd love to hear your impressions of each name! If you don't like them, I'd really love to hear the reasons... Because for example, if you think it sounds geeky, that would actually be a plus for us. :)

Thanks!

Both are nice!

If you're going for geeky I'd think Ingrid is moreso
I prefer the spelling Zoey also as it looks more complete.

I really dont like either sorry

Ingrid sounds like a techincal terminology and Zoe just always feels harsh to me

I love Ingrid! It's lovely and not as common as Zoe.

I adore Ingrid (and Sigrid). Zoe is lovely but too popular/90s for me.

They are both lovely!

I would think of an Ingrid as clever and quirky, with a strong personality. Zoe I think of mire as a sweet, quiet girl. That is just me! ;)

As per the pp, I also love Sigrid.

I like them both! I actually think they go together really well just as in your title (Ingrid Zoe).

I like Ingrid but I perhaps see it as a middle name but that's just me, Zooey is very popular! I work with kiddies and I think I've seen about 15 Zoe's come into my classroom within the past 5 years.xx

Oh I just LOVE Ingrid! Zoe is too 90's for me x

90's isn't specifically bad or anything, I guess it's just not for me - reminds me of at least 4 Zoe's I went to school with, along with Emma and Becky and Tracy and the like :)

To me 90s names feel outdated but not outdated enough to be cool again, if that makes sense. Like outdated names from the 20s are cool again. I'm sure in 80 years people will be looking back at 90s names and think they're cool and retro... but not now.

Zoe forsure! I don't like ingrid. Know someone with that name and she also does not like it. Just my opinion.

Ingrid for sure :) Sounds strong, exotic and interesting.

Not a huge fan of Zoey, it has always sounded like a pet's name to me...

Zoe has definitely made a comeback with popularity (at least here anyway!) I really like it though & had it on my list until I kept saying it out loud with our surname and realised it sounded a bit silly. I also like Ingrid
