Initials BQJ (BJ)

Kids with poor initials were ripped to shreds in the school I went to, so because of that I'm incredibly mindful of how initials could be used as a point of teasing. Sure kids get teased for anything but I wasn't about to make an easy target. So on that note, I definitely wouldn't use BJ.

my friends first and middle names began with a b and a j and when she was little she was known as bj. until her gran demanded that no names in the family were to be shortened and she had to be called her really name.
i wouldn't have thought about it to be honest. unless someone pointed it out

My son's initials are BXJ. Honestly it did cross my mind not to use the B name because of the potential for bullying but screw that I was not going to give a bully any power like that before my child was even born so I used the name I loved. Nobody has ever mentioned it and I honestly don't see if being a problem in the future.

Hopefully he will have a strong enough character one day (I think he already does!) to rise above such stupid bullying.

I love my LO's name he gets lots of compliments on it and it really suits him, I can't imagine him being called anything else. Good luck to the idiot that wants to mock him one day for it. I swear I will get one of those scary IT clown costumes and stand outside that kid's window and scare the life out of him

Kids will find ANY thing to mock a child if they want to.

I went to school with a girl with the initials ABJ. People joked about it but not in a nasty way, and it didn't bother her one bit!

No I wouldn't, wouldn't take long for kids to work that one out, if hubby had a name like that in his line of work he would have all sorts of names.
