Maybe this is inappropiate but... sex questions.

Any one else nervous about having sex?

My husband and I were intimate for this first time this morning since we found out we were pregnant.

And idk, I was so nervous, that well idk why...... just terrified ill do something to hurt the baby.

Am I crazy?

My husband has been extremely understanding. We were a very active couple, especially TTC but we came to a dead halt. I've been so sick as well that we don't do much of anything sexual, and he was been so understanding and compassionate about how I'm feeling.

I was very nervous the second time around. You just hear all these people talk about spotting after sex and there seems to be a lot of pressure. Most doctors encourage it as long as there's no complications and your not bleeding though :)

I totally understand. We only started dtd regularly after I had a 9 week scan. I still run to the bathroom to check for spotting.

My last mc started after we dtd and I had a big O. I had bad cramps and spotting after which stopped after 3 days. The baby stopped growing around that time (5/6 weeks). Even though the docs say it probably didn't cause it I can't help but think that that big O interfered with a proper implantation. That's just what my gut says to me so poor OH had to wait until I was sure. We've had no spotting after sex now so I have relaxed a lot. If I have future pregnancies I probably won't dtd before 8 weeks when bean is totally implanted after my experience.

I haven't dtd at since bfp- but on doctor's orders ( I had a small subchoriconic clot which showed up on early ultrasound). Personally I'm waiting till I'm out of first tri but I've had 3 losses. Most women I know have sex without problems, just some minor cramping afterwards. Go with your gut.

I am too scared to try until the second trimester

I know that realistically it won't cause any problems BUT in my head if anything were to happen I know I would be blaming myself :( That said I won't even have a bath (showers only), paint my nails or dye my hair as I am so paranoid this time round.

Annoyingly people tell you to relax but that doesn't really help if you are going to blame yourself should something happen.

Wishing you all a healthy and happy pregnancy!
