Is baby "balling up" or is it BH?

Sometimes it feels like baby has rolled into a tight little ball! My whole tummy feels hard and sometimes it seems to stick out more when this happens. And it's rather uncomfortable; there feels like there is pressure when this happens. Is it just baby pushing and curling up?

I had the same dilemma until my bh got painful and it was more obvious...

i had the same thing for about 2 weeks and never knew it untill my friends mom felt it and said i was having BH. i never really felt it though and now i have alot of tightnings and its alot more frequent along with cramps just dont know if its contractions

Sort of. It usually feels more near the top than at the bottom, but it's not usually painful, more uncomfortable like pushing or pressure?

Mine was like that around 32 weeks but ever since then they are alittle painful maybe just because they last longer now.

I get this all the time too, and put it down to being BH, can be quite painful for me and feels like intense pressure, but it quickly dies down after about 30 seconds. x

Sounds like BH. For me it feels like baby is balling up and dropping like a lead weight, but when I feel my tum its rock hard and then softens after about a minute, it doesn't hurt, but its isn't the most pleasant feeling

'Balling up' is such a good description! I get this lots, my bump looks so strange, like LO is sticking his/her bum out or running out of room.
