Reading through some symptoms of pregnancy has made me think can i be? i have bad back pains from the lower and from shoulder to shoulder and in the lower part of my stomach which i thought could be period pains, i have had implant out for a month and not had a period yet. I think im just looking at every sign and if one pops up i get my hopes up when its probably nothing. advice ladies? x

Symptom spotting is so easy to do sometimes and it's so easy to get your hopes up. The problem always is that pg symptoms and AF symptoms are so similar. I think we all symptom spot most months...but sometimes it's AF and sometimes it's a BFP. In your case, I have no idea, but I hope it's a BFP. I suppose I would say that back pain alone probably isn't a sign, but put together with some of the other ones, it could be. Have you tested yet? It's hard to tell since you're just off the implant and haven't had a withdrawal bleed yet. That makes it a bit harder to tell what your body is actually up to. I would say that if it continues and you get neither a BFP or a period, that you should make an appointment with your doctor, just to check and see what's going on.

Hey,

When I had my implant out I was advised that within a few weeks I would have a withdrawal bleed and then we can start TTC, over three years later and I have had four periods, the first was in April this year on my second round of Clomid.

If you haven't had a bleed within six weeks I advise you go and see your doctor, there could be something going on that you don't know about.
