I know this sounds stupid but I cant look at soft toys anymore, I cant look them in the eyes!! hahaha its crazy i know!
My mum thinks its my motherly instinkts kicking in but i cant see how i cud be motherly to a soft toy
like i went into a toy shop the other day and i had to go out of the shop cos i felt sorry for all the soft toys for sale , i felt like they were lookin at me as if to say take me home please. LOL!! I really do sound insaine dont I?!

And the worst case of this was when me and my boyfriend were sat in the carpark at mcdonalds waiting for our order, and there was this boy like he must of been 14 maybe? and he had a soft toy merkat ( im not even into merkats that much) but he was whackin the hell out of it on a metal railing and pulling its stuffing out then hitting it on the railing again, all for no reason.
I nearly cried!!!! LOL

this happened to me in TK maxx

my OH/FOB picked up a zebra teddy and said he wanted to get it for the baby but then we saw the price tag and it was extremely expensive and i went to take it off him and put it back but then it felt like it was looking at me and it seemed sad so we just HAD to buy it lol we are giving it as a xmas present seeing as it was so expensive and about the same size as he will be at birth lol x

oh...i agree with your mom its your motherly instinct kicking in! right after i had dd my compassion for other soared. Anytime i heard of injustice or wrong doing i would cry buckets! Its normal- you are just connecting the stuffed toys to your soon to be here baby
