Is it normal?

Is it normal to spot with PCOS? I've been spotting since before Christmas. It's only really when I wipe, sometimes a slight stain on my pants. I don't understand it! I have irregular bleeding, but it has always been like a period every 2 weeks, sometimes a little longer. I thought it was implantation bleeding at first, but it can't be now it has gone on for this long!

Also, this spotting has only ever been brown or pink in colour. I get clear, stringy discharge with it too - like when I ovulate, but I can't be ovulating this often!?
