Is it possible to have IB at 9DPO? How many days after IB B4 I can test?

Hi Everyone,

I'm roughly 9-10 DPO today. When I wiped a little bit ago I had a few teensy tiny little specks of bright red blood. I have been cramping like crazy since about 5-6 DPO. At times I really feel like AF is going to come at any moment. My shorter cycles are 24 days (which would be tomorrow) and longer ones are 28 (which is this Sunday). So I'm not sure if what I just saw is IB or just my body getting ready to unleash the beast. I've read that IB can happen between 6-10 days, so I'd just be on the tail end of that. If this is IB how many days should I wait to test so that the HCG level has enough time to build up and be detected on a HPT? Thanks!!!

9dpo is actually the average time for implantation, so yes absolutely! I would probably wait at least three days before testing, and if you can hold on I'd wait until you know for sure af is late... hard but you stand the best chance of getting a positive result the longer you can wait and it's very reassuring to see a good strong line!

I am in a very similar position and just as confused!!! Broody has been very reassuring to me too!! I had a brown stringy thing come out last night and then 2 wipes of blood this morning and then only small amount of brown on 2 tampons so far. So confused!!!

Thanks Broody! I think I can hold out until Friday for sure (if AF doesn't show before then). Waiting though the weekend until Monday though would be really torturous.
