Most women have one anovulatory cycle a year (girls who are first getting their period experience anovulatory cycles as well). You'll still get your period as your uterus is unable to sustain the lining that long. Perhaps this is an anovulator cycle for you, or perhaps it's just delayed - you don't say how long your cycles normally are or if you track any other fertility signs...
I have definitely read that it's possible and even probable not to ovulate every single month - ugh - another wrench thrown into the mess. I never thought getting pregnant would be so technical
