Had my first appointment last Thursday at 6wks pregnant (early due to previous losses.) She sent me for blood work that day and it's now about a week later and I've not heard back.

I didn't really expect to but I figure if something were wrong, she'd have contacted me, right? I mean... you'd think so at least. So would y'all assume no news is good news?

I have an internal u/s tomorrow morning so I'll probably have my worries eased with that but I just thought I'd ask. It was on my mind.

If the results were significantly troublesome I can't imagine the physician would wait for your appointment a week later to tell you about it. Chances are everything was fine :)

First off, sorry about your previous losses :hugs: I would imagine if they were concerned with your bloodwork they would've called you, or so I'd hope! Do you know if it was just hcg or hcg and progesterone they were testing?
Good luck at your scan tomorrow! :flower: x

She didn't say really and for whatever reason, I didn't think to ask. To be honest, any question I planned on asking went out the window.

And thanks :)

Oh the same happened to me at my first appt! I knew pregnancy brain was real, but gosh it hit me right off the bat  If you get a chance, be sure to update, I'll definitely be thinking of you! x

Thanks!

Like I said, I have an internal u/s tomorrow so hopefully that will give me an update of sorts. Though (like most) I'm terrified something will be wrong, nothing will be there, etc. I'm sure all will be fine but there's always that doubt.
