Just wondering if I am the only one but I can only get a period if it is induced by provera and it is heartbreaking knowing that there is 0% chance that I could ever get pregnant w/o medical intervention. I have been trying for 2.5 years and ntnp for two years before that. I just started provera today then I will be doing 100mg of clomid. I am only 20 years old this should be easy for me ugh I feel so hopeless and I am just looking for some support from someone in or that has been in a similar situation.

Hi, I am the same. I hardly ever have periods on my own, I would have probably had about 6-8 natural periods on my own in about 8 years. Even then, about 4 of them were when I first started back when I was a teenager. The only time that I would ever have a period was when I was either on the pill (regular like clockwork) and when I was given a course of tablets which would enduce a period (i.e. Provera and the like). I was given Provera a few years back hoping that it would kick start everything, and that just never did! When I first got diagnosed, I was told by the vag man (gynae) that he thought I was ovulating, but I was never able to conceive as I never had periods. So, finally, after moving away and then having to have to go through all the apps again with different Drs/FS's I have finished my first round of Clomid (100mg's like you too), after taking Provera to force on a bleed, and I am just waiting in limbo now as to whether I am going to have a natural AF if I have not conceived this month. I have a funny feeling I could still be sitting here at Christmas 2012 waiting for AF to show! I know exactly how you feel, as I am in the same boat as you. I am 22, so not much older than yourself.

Keep your chin up - we will get there one day! x

Hey, I'm not in the exact same boat as you. I have a period every month but a fake one because I don't actually ovulate, they tested me over several months and no ovulation occurred. I also have PCOS, and I'm 25. I started my 1st round of clomid 50mg CD 2-6 last month and got my BFB but I unfortunately lost my little jelly bean at 5 weeks. I'm trying to stay positive and hoping that the 2nd cycle will work again. It's been a very long and frustrating journey but I'm trying to take what positives I can out of this and a few months a go I couldn't even imagine ever seeing that BFP staring back at me. I don't know if this will help you or not but this site definitely will. I only joined a week a go after my mc but it's been a great support being able to talk openly with other women going through the same things and knowing that you aren't being judged.
Good Luck

Sorry to hear about your MC, I don't know how it must feel to have gone through that. Good luck to you too - hopefully you get a BFP soon and the buba will stick :)

I also have to have provera to induce my cycle. The :witch: showed up today. I actually feel likt I am ttc. I will be taking femara days 3-7. I am young as well (22). Its sucks not to be able to naturally conceive, but as long as I can conceive I will be happy. Well good luck ladies.

I feel the same. I have always said that I want two children. I will be happy if I get one miricle child, two would be a bonus for me and the hubby.

I feel the same ladies, I come from a big family and always wanted lots of children but now I'd just be happy for that one little miracle baby. Hopefully we will all get our wishes.
I'm hoping that with faith, prayer and some magic miracle drugs my dream will come true soon.

There's a good post on here called clomid club where lots of women on clomid all post their progress. It's helped me feel more positive recently.

Lots of luck and baby dust to you all :dust:

Indeed, I don't come from the biggest (only me and my sister) but I have lots of cousins. MY DH is 1 of 11 altogether between both parents. So I would be happy to just have one that we can call our own and then raise together happy.

Hi I am the same, I am on provera and clomid now to try to remedy that, my first round of provera and clomid together, I still didnt ovilate, the second round I did so didnt need the provera to induce af, she came on her own (yay! ) obviously I would have prefered to get my bfp but only you girls can imagine my happiness at actually ovulating! I am now on my third round of clomid and have no idea if I have ovulated or not :( I have pcos aswell.

thank you ladies, I am glad I am not alone in this struggle although it is sad that others are going through this too. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. :hugs:

I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

At least we are all in it together :/

hi ladies....i dont have periods on my own at all, i dont think ive had a natural period since i was 17 - im now 29. ive had a few on bc and ive had a few forced on by provera....like you we ttc for a long time and after using provera somehow i conceived about 40 days into that so called cycle, not that i was having any cycles. I know im incredibly lucky..but it obviously can happen. we were also told that on OH had rubbish swimmers so we had a double battle......since having our LO i still havent had any periods..i just wanted to let you know my story that it can happen, pcos can just make it a very long and difficult journey but dont give up
xx

hi there, i was dx with pcos 16yr ago at age of 18 when i got married, i never ovulate at all even on clomid, i tried iui as well and either didnt respond at all or overresponded, so ivf is the only thing that gives me a chance of pg. i also over the yrs tried all combination of herbs, weight loss, ect ect ect, never ovulate.

its so infuriating how its so easy for others to ovulate and yet no matter what we try our stupid pcos ovaries refuse to co operate.
