Is this an example of the hook effect? Or does easy@home suck?

Easy@home is so faint camera wont pick it up.
(Not pregnant hcg trigger, I wanted to see a positive digi inside...)

Hook effect happens layer on, i think with me it was around 7-8 weeks? Looks like just a not-as-good test, imo.
 
Agreed seems like that pink handle just has a lower sensitivity
 
Hook affect dosent play an affect untill 11 + weeks when the placenta is in full swing maybe just a dodgy test but the strips in the digi isnt how strong hcg is if that makes sence but its positive x
 
I used easy@home, and they were super good and very sensitive for me. My lines showed up really, really early (like 6-7 days before AF was due). Maybe a bad batch? I know they had I think 2-3 batches recalled, but I don't have the serial numbers on hand.
