Is this CD1? Need to start taking Clomid but not sure if this is right!

Hi girls, I'm starting Clomid this cycle for the first time ever and am due to take it on days 2-6. I had to be given pills to bring on my period, and yesterday I spotted a tiny bit. Today (mainly this afternoon) I had more of a proper red colour and now need to use a bit more tissue (tmi, sorry!) - do you think this counts as CD1 now that it is red rather than a bit brown? Really don't want to get it wrong!

I did as the FS but she didn't seem to be sure - she said day 1 would be the day that I have a proper bleed but I'm always really light so am a bit stuck.

Day 2 would be tomorrow so I guess I could see how tonight and tomorrow goes, and take the first pill tomorrow night?

anyone got any ideas?

My first cycle of clomid I had a pcos period rather than a full on provera one. I spotted for three days. That was it. So I started on the second day. It worked though, i ovulated!

Would you count the tiniest bit of light brown as spotting? That would have been yesterday with red spotting today.

It's so exciting to be starting Clomid at last - thanks for replying to me! I saw another post you did earlier about stupid people who think they are entitled to know everything about your private life - sorry you have to put up with that! I get it a bit at work but loads of people in my office have been on fertility treatment that most of them have the sense not to ask anyone over 30 if they are planning on having children!

If I do get asked I just say that we are thinking about it but for some time in the future as we have too much other stuff going on. That normally shuts them up!
