Is this just a really low cervix ?

Hey ladies,

most of you have probably seen me moan about this loads of times before but,

ive had another "self inspection" tonight, and yet again i can't find my cervix at all.

Something i have got is alot of random vaginal tissue almost blocking the entrance up??

You can still get "in" my lady bits but theres just all this tissue in the way?

I used to check for my cervix pre preg so i know what it feels like, and this tissue doesn't really feel like it but i don't know what else it could be?

I knnow that our ladybits do swell up but mine seem to have gone down to normal size now, i just need to know what this is at the entrance,

On the plus side....i can feel LO's head right inside now ( i can reach it without going upto my middle finger knuckle bone!!! )

Has anyone else got this similar thing with alot of tissue at the entrace and unable to find cervix?

My hooha feels like a squidgey mess too! I think it is just because of the increased blood & hormones - I was a bit taken aback as I hadn't had a feel since week 5/6. I can only just feel my cervix with the tip of my finger and there's no way I can feel his head. Pretty sure it's normal.

I believe so, yes. It doesn't feel like it could be anything else. I haven't had a look with a mirror but I'm pretty sure I'm normal down there. If you're really worried speak to your GP/midwife for some reassurance.

I believe so, yes. It doesn't feel like it could be anything else. I haven't had a look with a mirror but I'm pretty sure I'm normal down there. If you're really worried speak to your GP/midwife for some reassurance.

when did your baby go head down? cause im 36 weeks and she is still transverse

LO was head down at 28 weeks, and then stayed that way since


Dilated??? I hope so!!!

I've got the exact same squishy yucky mess going on at the opening of my vagina. My cervix it still up there though. I can reach it. Before I could reach it I had the stuff at the opening also. If you can feel baby's head up there I doubt your cervix is at the opening. Your cervix is most likely just still posterior( facing your back). When its posterior its really hard to find because it just feels flat and then you feel baby's head. It can still be dilated but not pointing down so you cant find the opening.

I hope some of that makes some sort of sense.

Oh absolutely. When you become pregnant it goes posterior to prevent infection from getting in. As you near labor or when your in labor it will move to midline then anterior so baby can come out.
