Well ater a thread earlier it seemed that most people dont seem to leak so much :-/
well my leaking is crazy bad it was with my DD aswell and it never slowed down:-/
its that bad earlier it went through a breast pad through my bra through my top and wen i bent down it was dripping onto the floor :-/
at night time i havent been wearing a bra to bed (just bought some sleep bras to try help combat the problem) i leak so bad it actually socked the bedding through to the matress :-/

just wondered if its only me like i say it happened when i fed my daughter right till when i stopped at 12 weeks :-/

this did happen to me - I dripped and soaked, went through breastpads and bedding - have a v good letdown and used to letdown on one breast when he was feeding on the other - occasionally do now but I really don't leak now - unless we've been out all day and he has fed a lot less than usual (he bf a lot less when out)

god yea mine leaked like this for the first few months.

I still find myself touching my boobs everyone and then to check ive not leaked through!

It settles down

i had really leaky boobs and an excellent let down up until i would say....6-7 months. It had finally gotten regulated. When I am nursing my lo, the other breast still leaks/letsdown. Your not alone!!

Yep, I used to leak like that all the time. It was such a pain! The leaking has finally settled down a bit in the past few weeks, though I still have simultaneous let-downs in both breasts when I nurse and if I get engorged all bets are off, lol.

Yep I leaked like that too! I started folding up receiving blankets and using them as nursing pads at home because I leaked so much! My milk regulated around 10-12 weeks and I still leak a bit sometimes but barely noticeable

i did this the other day lol and i sometimes shove muslins in my bra while im feeding because i know ill soak right through a pad then have to get up and get changed lol

Yep, I totally leaked that much. I swear my body thought I had a litter to feed. :D
I was stuffing four layers of washcloth down my bra and still soaking straight through.

My mom was good enough to make me nursing pads with 3 thick soaking layers and a pul(waterproof diaper fabric) backing. The pul kept me from leaking through my bra and shirt and saved my sanity, lol. The pad was still drenched(and stinking of milk, ugh) if it'd been more than a couple hours since he ate, but soooo helpful.

Definitely recommend the pul backing.

I thought the leakage would never end, but finally in the last couple weeks it has mellowed out! I can now wear pads w/out the pul and don't leak through anymore. Maybe with your first you stopped before your supply regulated?

I was like this for the first two weeks. Is calmed a bit now but if she pratts about latching on its like a leaking tap. I found Avent breast shells really good. Espec overnight. Then you can just pour what ever milk you leak into a bottle then it's not wasted in a breast pad. X

I used to leak like a tap when he was little too.. I swear I could feed half the neighborhood babies :haha: it got better but at almost 8 months I still leak like crazy when I'm feeding, the letdown on the boob not being used can soak LO so I still stuff blankets in there lol and the odd letdown during the day will go through my shirt too.. Just doesn't drench me anymore  I stopped wearing pads around 5ish months.

I leak like this as well, especially if she goes more than 2 hours without feeding. And when I'm nursing on one side, the other is always pouring out. It's crazy. Reading the rest of the posts that it regulates at some point gives me hope! I'm going through SO many pads!!

I've had this problem, especially with my daughter starting to sleep through the night. But my boobs are slowly starting to adjust. I haven't needed to wear pads during the day if I'm good about feeding every 3 hours or so.

I leak occasionally. My LO is nearly six months and it depends on how much she feeds. When she wakes up in the morning and has a feed, my other breast will often leak. She went through a phase of sleeping through the night a few months back and I would wake every morning in a puddle of milk and very engorged breasts.
It does settle down in time but it can depend on what your let down is like- mine is quite powerful so I'm often spraying everywhere! :dohh:
