Is this my period?

Hi I stopped the pill 21/04 (25 days ago) and had a short breakthrough bleed 3 days later. I'm now bleeding again but is it too soon to be classed as a proper period?
When I ttc the first time, I waited 7 weeks for a period. I know things vary but I'm not sure if to count it or not!?

It depends upon how heavy the bleeding is. Does it seem like a normal period in terms that you're bleeding enough or is it very light and scant? If it is light, then I would say no, but if it seems normal, I would classify it as a real period. 25 days is not out of the norm and the breakthrough bleeding doesn't count. Your cycles may be wonky a few months after stopping BC especially if you've been on it a while.

Coming off the pill can mess your cycle up for awhile. The first bleeding like you said was likely breakthrough bleeding. This is probably your real period now. It sounds strange but birth control does that. Another month or so and hopefully things will be more regular for you.
