I'm 26+2 and its been 6 days since baby has stopped kicking strong. They've been really weak movements. Iv heard the heartbeat twice and it's fine on my home fetal Doppler, is this common?

My baby seems to do this a lot. Some days the kicks are really strong and s/he feels really active. Other days I don't feel much, other than rolls. I put it down to baby sleeping more and also laying in a different position. I think if the heartbeat is fine and you have no other symptoms, this change in movement is normal. But as always, it's probably a good idea to double check with the midwife.

Is it a change in the type of movement or no movement at all (or significantly reduced movement)? You're far enough along that you can do the kick test. You should be able to feel baby move (not necessary KICK but feel movement) 10 times every two hours. You can try some tricks to help get baby moving (e.g., mine moves most when I lay on my side and have a soda) and then count how many times you feel him/her in two hours (or stop when you get to 10 before two hours is up).

If you can't feel at least 10 movements in two hours, I'd call your care provider.

Mine has gone from kicking to rolling (maybe kicking somewhere I can't feel?). I dug out my doppler since I was getting worried and she kicked the doppler (that static sound) but I didn't feel it so I know she's moving without me being able to feel everything yet. So it could be completely normal. If you're worried though, there's no harm in calling your care provider...

Call your doctor hon. Always better to be safe. Please call.
