Mine tries hard to get things I will like but he does get it wrong. And even when I show him the exact thing he has been known to get the wrong one because he thinks his is better.
I sound really ungrateful but he does make a lot of mistakes.
Digital radio - it took me a year to chose one I really liked and showed him the exact one I wanted when I decided, based partly on the way it looked like an old-fashioned radio. He bought a different one that looks really modern and doesn't go with the look I wanted.
Gold watch and necklace that I can't wear because I feel like Mr T.
An I-pod I told him I didn't want and wouldn't use (I'm half deaf and in sole charge of a baby, earphones and me are not compatable). ETA - I told him BEFORE he bought it.
Three hamsters in a big glass tank, just because Next Door had some and I said they were cute. Didn't mean I wanted a giant glass coffin filled with rodents in my living room for the next three years.
So is it just my DH or does anyone else get presents like this too?
