Isn't it strange?..

I only actually realised today. But oh my God, I'm actually going to have a baby!

It's sunk in that I'm pregnant. But feels so strange to think I'm actually going to have a little one at the end of it. For now it just feels like I'm pregnant forever.

I know I probably sound weird, But I sat thinking today.. I'm actually going to hold MY baby in my arms. Change his/her nappies, Feed him/her, get the little one to sleep, etc.. WE ALL ARE! How amazing!

For me it sunk in after i heard the heartbeat the first time - i immediately gave up smoking - cold turkey!

I love this feeling!

I am sat at work and just keep pausing - thinking "Wow, Im having a baby!!"

I text my OH a few times a day just like sh*t... we are having a baby"

I still can't quite believe it is real, especially as my symptoms keep vanishing.

It won't feel real until we have a scan, I am just so worried at the moment, I can't be happy or excited.

I am actually pretty freaked out by it. for the last 34 years of my life I have had only one person to please or disappoint....me. now i have another life I am responsible for. sometimes the thought of that sends me into a severe depression.

I knoooow, i was having these exact thoughts all day yesterday, it's mad isn't it, so exciting though. Completely know what you mean about feeling pregnant forever, i've known for exactly 5 weeks today and it feels like i should be giving birth any day now, feels like i've already been pregnant for 9 months but such a long way to go.

But until the day we DO hold our babies and feed our babies and put them to bed at night, let's have happy and healthy pregnancies xxx

I don't think its sunk in yet for me. My last two pregnancies ended early in miscarriage, so even though I'm acting pregnant I still have a bit of a wall around my heart. I'm waiting to see that first scan with heartbeat!
